Betul (MP), Jan. 1 -- After many people fell ill after consuming contaminated water in Indore, now severe negligence has come to light at a water filter plant in Multai's Hardoli Dam in Betul district.
Taking serious note of constant complaints regarding unclean water, Vivekanand Ward's Corporator Anjali Shivhare inspected the plant yesterday. During the inspection, the bridge rotor machine -- which plays a crucial role in water purification -- was found closed.
A municipality employee present on the scene revealed that the machine has not been operated for a long time.
