New Delhi, July 17 -- National e-Governance Division or NeGD organised a State Capacity Building Workshop for CISOs (Chief Information Security Officers) and Deputy CISOs for various departments of Sikkim Government on July 14, 2025.
This one-day workshop was organised by MeitY, or the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, in collaboration with the IT department of the Government of Sikkim.
Addressing the inaugural session, Tenzing T. Kaleaon, Secretary, Department of Information Technology, highlighted the ongoing trends of cybersecurity threats and focused on the role of CISOs in fostering the digital infrastructure of the country. He also pointed towards the Government's commitment to building a digital ecosystem.
