Kolhapur, April 10 -- Maharashtra minister and BJP leader Nitesh Rane today emphasized the need for modernising government-run schools in the state with an aim to provide high-quality facilities for children from rural areas and "vastis" (small settlements).
Speaking after inaugurating the state's first air-conditioned ZP school in Warangavan of Kankavali tehsil in Sindhudurg district, Rane, who is also district guardian minister, said this is the first AC ZP school in the state.
