Itanagar, July 4 -- The North Eastern Council (NEC) has disbursed a total of Rs 5,70,15,080 under the Scheme of NEC in June 2025 to boost developmental projects across Arunachal Pradesh.
The funds were allocated to various sectors, including fisheries, tourism, language preservation, education, connectivity, and healthcare infrastructure, an official release said on Friday.
Key allocations include Rs one crore for fisheries development in Aalo East Assembly Constituency, Rs 83 lakh for the development of Signature View Point at Ziro, Lower Subansiri, and Rs 80 lakh for the Tissa View Point Camp in Tirap district. Additionally, Rs 64.62 lakh was granted for the promotion and literary development of mother languages of Arunachal Pradesh.
