Chennai, Aug. 29 -- A new technology of Common Alerting System (CAS) throughcell broadcast would be launched on trial basis from September 1, to help fishermencommunity be safe from any cyclones, National Disaster Management Authority(NDMA) Member Lt. Gen. Syed Ata Hasnain (Rtd) said today.
