NDA wins no-confidence motion against GVMC Mayor

Visakhapatnam, April 19 -- NDA wins the no-confidence motion moved against the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Mayor.

National Democratic Alliance (NDA) comprising the Telugu Desam party, Jana Sena, and the BJP moved the no-confidence motion against GVMC Mayor G Hari Venkata Kumari, who belongs to the YSRCP.

District Collector and in-charge GVMC Commissioner MN Harendhira Prasad conducted the 'no-confidence' motion on Saturday. Anakapalli MP CM Ramesh told the media that 74 corporators and also ex-officio members voted in favour of the confidence motion.
