Patna, Sept. 14 -- The fifth phase of meetings of party workers belonging to the National Democratic Alliance -- the ruling coalition in Bihar -- will begin from September 18 as part of preparations for the upcoming assembly elections.
Bihar JD(U) president Umesh Kushwaha told media that the meetings will continue till September 23. Such meetings have been going on for the past few weeks as part of election preparations, he added.
The ruling NDA has set the winning target of 225 seats out of 243 in this year's assembly elections. The alliance is contesting under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
