Mumbai, April 16 -- After the shortage of blood in the COVID era, the Nationalist Youth Congress (NYC) has launched the 'BloodforMaharashtra' campaign following the call of party chief Sharad Pawar.

The campaign was launched by Youth Congress state president Mehboob Sheikh at Shirur Kasar in Beed district.

So far 75 blood donation camps have been conducted and 4,300 bags of blood have been collected through them, said Sheikh in his official statement on Friday.
