Mumbai, Dec. 30 -- Maharashtra Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President and MP Sunil Tatkare on Tuesday said that candidates in the third list to be announced soon by the party for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) polls have political heft and are highly capable.
Addressing a press conference, Tatkare stated that elections are being contested as part of the Mahayuti alliance in Solapur, Panvel in Raigad district, Kolhapur, and Nashik. "In some places, the NCP has teamed up with the Shiv Sena while in other areas all three partners are contesting together. Senior leaders of the Mahayuti are well aware that political circumstances differ from region to region," he said.
