Pune, Dec. 19 -- The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Ajit Pawar faction on Friday suspended its student wing president Vishal More following his arrest in a drug trafficking case.

More was arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch in connection with the trafficking of MD (mephedrone) drugs from Savari village in Satara district. According to police, two people supplying drugs in Mumbai's Mulund area were detained earlier. During interrogation, they revealed that More was allegedly involved in supplying narcotics.

Earlier, Shiv Sena (Thackeray faction) leader Sushma Andhare had made allegations linking Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's brother Prakash Shinde to the drug trafficking case. She had claimed that Prakash Shinde was connected to ...
