Dhaka, Dec. 19 -- NCP social group, Jatiya Chhatra Shakti, today staged a protest demanding the resignation of Bangladesh Home Advisor Jahangir Alam Choudhury, due to the interim govt's "failure" in arresting those involved in the attempted assassination of Inqilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman Hadi.
Running for Dhaka-8 constituency as an independent aspirant, Hadi, known for his vitriolic anti-India statements, and anti-Awami League remarks, was shot in the head on Dec 12, by unknown gunmen.
Hadi was on Monday airlifted to Singapore, remaining in a comatose state, for further treatment. He died on late Thursday.
