Mumbai, Sept. 19 -- The Sharadchandra Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of using "crude and undignified" language against opponents under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

NCP spokesperson Ravikant Varpe criticised BJP leaders, including Gopichand Padalkar and Chitra Wagh, for allegedly undermining Maharashtra's political culture with abusive remarks.

Varpe condemned Padalkar's recent comments targeting NCP leader Jayant Patil and his late father, Rajarambapu Patil, who was a freedom fighter.

"Insulting such a revered personality reflects the decline of political culture," Varpe said.
