Beed, Dec. 7 -- A tense situation has emerged in Beed following delay in the declaration of municipal election results, prompting workers of the Nationalist Congress Party faction led by Sharad Chandra Pawar to maintain a vigil outside the strong room storing ballot boxes. Party workers said they initiated the watch due to a lack of confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party's intentions.
