Thane/Palghar, Dec. 3 -- With 571 new Corona positive cases surfacing in the past 24 hours, the tally has surged to 2,30,071 in Thane district, an official at the district headquarters said.
Meanwhile, the death toll has mounted to 5702 with an addition of 10 deaths.
The official said that the recovery rate of the district is 94.23%(216801) mortality 2.48%(5702)and active patients 3.28%(7568) he said.
The total of positive patients in some of the cities were Thane 51623 , Kalyan 54297 , Mira Bayander 24273 and Navi Mumbai 48479 .
The death toll so far in these cities are Thane 1240, Kalyan 1062 , Mira Bayander 758, and Navi Mumbai 989 .
