Puducherry, Sept. 27 -- As many as 372 more persons were tested positive for the Coronavirus and 13 died in the union territory in the last 24 hours ending at 10 AM on Sunday leaving 5239 active cases here.
According to the COVID 19 status for Sunday released by the health department, 270 new cases were reported in Puducherry region,72 in Karaikal,11 in Yanam and 19 in Mahe region. As many as 443 persons were discharged in the last 24 hours. 365 of them were from Puducherry region, 45 from Karaikal, 26 from Yanam and 7 from Mahe region. Of the 13 deaths,10 were in the Puducherry region and three in Karaikal.
