Chennai, May 29 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested two people, including the Deputy Registrar of National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench, and a private person for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.3 lakh (one lakh real and rest dummy) from the complainant.
A case was registered by CBI on May 14, 2025 against the accused on a complaint from the owner
of the a hotel that there was some dispute between him and his brothers, regarding the hotel ownership.
That matter was filed before the NCLT Mumbai Court number IV on November 2, 2020 and has since been pending, CBI said on Thursday.
