Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 16 -- Kerala Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran on Friday received 17 tonnes of relief materials from NCC cadets who collected it from this district to support the City Corporation's effort to extend a helping hand to flood victims in the northern districts in the state.
The Minister received the materials from Cadets and Commanding Officers, Col Johny Joseph and Col Ajayraj, at SMV Higher Secondary School, the collection centre of the district administration here.
The relief materials collected by the cadets from the battalions of 2 Kerala, 3 Kerala, Naval and Air squadron were already handed over to the City Corporation.
