Srinagar, Dec. 26 -- The National Conference (NC) on Friday said the elected government has fulfilled its commitment on the rationalisation of reservations and urged the Lok Bhawan to clear the proposal at the earliest to address the concerns of aspirants.

The remarks came a day after Member of Parliament from Srinagar and estranged NC leader Aga Ruhullah Mehdi issued an ultimatum to the J&K government, asking it to address demands for the rationalisation of the reservation policy in the union Territory by Saturday. Ruhullah said he would sit with the students on Sunday to further highlight the reservation issue.
