Srinagar, Oct. 10 -- The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) today announced its nominees for three of the four vacant Rajya Sabha seats, following a meeting of the party's high command and core committee.
NC General Secretary Nasir Aslam Wani told reporters that the party has decided to field Chaudhary Mohammad Ramzan, Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, and Shammi Oberoi as its candidates for the Upper House.
Wani confirmed that three names had been finalised, but a decision on the remaining one seat was still under discussion. It is understood that the NC is holding talks with its alliance partner, the Congress, regarding the fourth seat.
