Sukma (Chhattisgarh), July 13 -- A Maoist charged with numerous grave offences has been placed under arrest during combined action by police personnel from this district's Jagargunda and the 150th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force(CRPF), police said on Sunday.

The Pamed Area Committee's Rama Bodke was apprehended on Saturday. The rebel murdered a villager hailing from Poovarti, and threatened to murder his family and beat them up. Six ultras have been arrested thus far in this connection. Bodke was being interrogated when reports last came in.
