Bhubaneswar, Feb. 17 -- Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday laid the foundation stone of Textile complex at Choudwar to be set up by world famous Welspun group at a cost of Rs.3050 crore.
The Wellspun group will establish an integrated textile manufacturing facility and a warehouse complex at Choudwar to provide employment opportunities for nearly 10,000 youths.
Speaking on the occasion, Patnaik said it was a historic day for Choudwar which got its glory back in the field of industry as Biju Babu had laid the foundation of industrialization in 1950s.
