Bhubaneswar, Nov. 7 -- Biju Janata Dal (BJD) President Naveen Patnaik today criticized the BJP government in Odisha, stating that development cannot be achieved through false propaganda.
"Simply painting over issues will not bring progress. A government cannot run on empty promises," Patnaik said during a road show at Khariar Road and Nuapada, campaigning for BJD candidate Snehangini Churia ahead of the Nuapada Assembly bypoll scheduled for November 11.
He highlighted that under the BJD government, sectors such as education, health, transportation, drinking water, irrigation, and tribal welfare saw significant improvement.
