Chennai, Jan. 27 -- As many as 393 athletes from Tamil Nadu will be participating in the 38th National Games to be held in Uttarakhand from January 28 to February 14.
After months of rigorous preparation, the Tamil Nadu contingent was accorded a warm send off
at a function organised by the Tamil Nadu Olympic Association (TNOA) at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in the city.
Tamil Nadu State Olympic Association President Isari Ganesh and General Secretary Aadhav Arjuna greeted the contingent and also launched the official uniforms and sports equipment for the march past of athletes participating in the National Games.
The TN contingent with their new and improved kits will also be donned by the group at the inaugural ceremony at the games.
