Jalgaon, Sept. 3 -- The National Health Mission Integration Committee in the district has been conducting a work stoppage movement in front of the Zilla Parishad since August 19.
Against this backdrop, a rally was organised today from the Zilla Parishad to the Collector's Office with 600 to 700 officers and employees participating in the demonstration. The rally proceeded to the front of the Collector's Office where participants raised slogans and submitted a representation to the District Collector.
The protest stems from a long-pending issue regarding the integration of National Health Mission staff into government service.
