Ranchi, Oct. 10 -- The six days first-ever National Folk Art Exhibition 'Lok-2025'commenced today at Audrey House here.
Organized jointly by the Department of Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Patna, and the Folkartopedia Foundation, the exhibition celebrates India's indigenous artistry and cultural legacy.
Director of the Department of Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Asif Akram inaugurated the event which will run till October 15.
The event will feature 115 artworks from 11 states representing 22 folk and tribal art forms. Traditional art styles on display include Khovar-Sohrai, Patkar, Jadopatia, Mithila, Godna,Bhojpuri, Sanjhi, Gond, Warli, Saura, Chittara, and Surpur Line...
