Chennai, Dec. 30 -- Prostrating before Bharat Mata does not make one anti-Tamil since the nation and mother tongue Tamil are our two eyes and none can separate them, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan said on Tuesday evening.
"We daily prostrate at the sacred feet of this holy Bharat Mata and pledge that this nation may prosper," he said and asked whether this makes one anti-Tamil.
Addressing the valedictory of the Kashi-Tamil Sangamam 4.0 at the holi pilgrim centre of Rameswaram this evening, he said "If the nation is one eye, the other one is our mother tongue Tamil,".
