Mumbai, April 17 -- Nida Khan, prime accused in the sexual harassment and religious coercion case at Tata Consultancy Services' (TCS) Nashik BPO unit, will move an anticipatory bail application in the sessions court next week, her lawyer Baba Sayed said on Friday.
Talking to mediapersons, Sayed who is also representing other accused in the case, said that Khan is three months pregnant and this will be one of the grounds for seeking anticipatory bail.
Khan's claim of being pregnant, made while seeking legal protection, has added a new dimension to the case. Authorities are currently verifying these claims through medical records before they are considered in any legal proceedings.
