Nashik, Jan. 8 -- A programme to return lost mobile phones to their rightful owners was held on Thursday at the Police Commissionerate here in Maharashtra, where 535 mobile phones valued at Rs 1.02 crore were handed over to citizens.

Police Commissioner Sandeep Karnik presided over the event.

Senior police officials present at the event included Deputy Commissioners of Police Kiran Kumar Chavan, Kishore Kale, and Monika Raut; Assistant Commissioner of Police Sandeep Mitke, Assistant Police Inspector Jaya Tayade, and constables D B Kasbe and Shrikant Salve.
