Nashik, Sept. 26 -- Due to heavy rain in Peth taluka of Nashik in the last three days, farmers' kharif crops have been damaged to a large extent.

The government will follow up to compensate the affected farmers at the government level and a report on the crop damage caused to the affected farmers should be submitted to the government, the state's Food and Drug Administration and Special Assistance Minister Narhari Jirwal instructed.
