New Delhi, Sept. 13 -- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has barred Chinese Nationals on US visas from its facilities and internal networks, perceived as the US intention to have an upper hand in its ongoing space race with China.

The decision blocks Chinese students, researchers and contractors from accessing NASA facilities, networks, and materials.

Chinese nationals were denied access to critical research data and excluded from both in-person and virtual meetings, causing significant disruption in ongoing scientific research.
