Gonda, Dec. 12 -- A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA on Thursday had a narrow escape in an accident which claimed the life of a blue bull (Nilgai) in the Nawabganj area of this district in Uttar Pradesh.
Police sources here said that BJP MLA Prateek Bhushan Singh was returning to his home from Basti in a car.
Meanwhile, a blue bull suddenly jumped and came on the road opposite his car near the Garha Gautam fly-over in the Kaptanganj area.
The car collided with the animal, which led to the blue bull's death while the MLA had a narrow escape.
