Mumbai, March 9 -- With the tenure of Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council scheduled to end on May 13, speculation is rife over whether he will seek another term.

While leaders from the Thackeray faction have demanded that he be renominated to the Council, Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) MP Naresh Mhaske on Monday expressed doubts hinting that Uddhav Thackeray may not get full support from within his own paerty.

Speaking to reporters, Mhaske commented that Thackeray should call Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde adding sarcastically that "Shinde is a large-hearted leader and would stand firmly behind him and support him".
