Dharamshala, Dec. 18 -- Continuing its crackdown on drug trafficking, the Narcotics Department on Wednesday intercepted a Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) bus at Rakkar and seized jewellery being transported without a bill.
The bus, travelling from Hoshiarpur to Dhaneta, was stopped following a tip-off that narcotics were being carried onboard. When the bus halted at Rakkar bus stop, a local shopkeeper received a packet from the driver. The Narcotics team immediately searched the packet and found silver jewellery instead of drugs.
