Bengaluru, Sept. 25 -- Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, used wit to highlight civic woes while delivering a sharp political critique of the ruling Congress today.

"He is my good friend. Yesterday, I went to Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar's residence and fixed several potholes on the way. I laid cement and repaired them because a friend should not have to face difficulties coming here," Narayanaswamy told reporters, poking fun at the state government over Bengaluru's persistent pothole problem.
