Windhoek, June 20 -- Namibia's national women's cricket team is set to host Cricket South Africa's development squad in a pivotal white-ball tour.
The series, announced Friday by Cricket Namibia in collaboration with CSA, will serve as direct preparation for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa qualifier, which Namibia will host in August.
The CSA Emerging Women's Academy squad will visit Namibia from July 2 to 12. The tour comprises four T20 matches and three 50-over fixtures in the capital Windhoek.
According to Cricket Namibia, the upcoming qualifier in August will see Namibia compete against seven other African nations, all vying for two spots at the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Global qualifier.
