Dharamshala, Jan. 30 -- BJP MLA Sudhir Sharma launched a sharp attack on the Congress over its protest on Shimla's Mall Road against the renaming of MGNREGA as the "VBGR Ram Yojana", alleging that the opposition was more troubled by the change of name than by the hardships faced by poor labourers.
Sharma said on Thursday the Congress was uncomfortable with every pro-poor decision taken by the BJP and termed the opposition to the "VBGR Ram Yojana" as proof of an anti-poor mindset. He asserted that renaming the scheme was not a crime but an effort to strengthen its spirit and objectives.
