Hyderabad, Sept. 4 -- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday caught District Fisheries Officer M Charitha Reddy of Nalgonda Collectorate red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs.20,000.
According to the ACB statement here, the officer had demanded the money from a complainant to approve the enlistment of new members in a local Fisheries Co-Operative Society. The bribe amount was recovered from her handbag at her instance.
