Bhubaneswar, Aug. 19 -- National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) has drawn up an ambitious growth and expansion roadmap in view of the country's aluminium consumption projected to touch a staggering 28 million tonnes by 2047.

Briefing mediapersons, NALCO Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) Brijendra Pratap Singh today said the company has planned the expansion of the 5th stream of the Alumina Refinery at Damanjodi, a new smelter plant, and a captive power plant with a cumulative investment of Rs.35,000 crore.
