Nalanda (Bihar), March 26 -- Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday announced a major development package worth Rs 810 crore for Nalanda district during his Samriddhi Yatra. During his yatra, the Chief Minister inaugurated 110 projects worth Rs 316 crore and laid the foundation stone for 106 projects estimated at Rs 494 crore.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the progress of previously announced schemes and directed officials to ensure their timely completion.
He also inaugurated a 1,620-metre flyover on the Bihar Sharif-Ranchi road, constructed at a cost of Rs 84.81 crore. He said the project fulfills a long-pending demand of residents and will significantly improve traffic flow in the area.
