Nagpur, Dec. 5 -- As the winter session of the Maharashtra Legislature begins in Nagpur on December 8, the city is set to witness a massive surge of public agitations.
A total of 33 rallies have sought permission to march toward the Vidhan Bhavan, said a union leader here on Friday.
So far, 22 organisations have applied for dharna protests, while 17 groups have sought approval for chain hunger strikes. Labour unions dominate the agitation landscape, with 13 different workers' organisations submitting requests for protest marches.
