The city logged a minimum temperature of 8.1 degrees Celsius on Thursday, marking the second consecutive day of single-digit chill.
Residents woke up to an icy morning as temperatures kept sliding in Maharashtra's second capital.
Most cities across Vidarbha also experienced a noticeable drop in night temperatures, signalling the return of winter's bite.
While early hours remained freezing, afternoons offered relatively mild and pleasant conditions.
