Nagpur, Nov. 17 -- : In a significant step for animal welfare, Nagpur has inaugurated its first-ever pet cremation facility at the Rise For Tails Centre, an initiative of RISE NGO. The centre aims to provide dignified and respectful last rites for both pets and stray animals.
The project was inspired by a personal loss. Following the death of their dog, Coco, the founders of Rise For Tails struggled to find an appropriate cremation space, particularly amid heavy rain. Realising that many pet owners face similar challenges, they established the service in Coco's memory.
