Nagpur, Sept. 22 -- The city of Nagpur has transformed into a vibrant hub of devotion and cultural celebrations as the auspicious festival of Navratri commenced today.
Temples, markets, and Durga Utsav Mandals have prepared to make this year's Navratri a memorable experience for residents and visitors.
The historic Shri Mahalakshmi Jagadamba Temple at Koradi has installed a record 5,551 kalash (sacred pots) and lit an uninterrupted sacred jyot (flame). To manage the expected influx of devotees, the temple has installed 250 CCTV cameras and a public announcement system. It has also created dedicated spaces for senior citizens, pregnant women, and the differently-abled.
