Nagpur, Dec. 1 -- The State Election Commission has postponed elections in nine wards across Nagpur district following court appeals filed by candidates.

Voting in these wards is now scheduled for December 20, with counting of votes to take place on December 21.

Elections in all other wards will proceed as scheduled on December 2.

The wards affected are: Ramtek municipal council: Ward 6-A, Kamthi municipal council: Wards 17-B, 10-A, and 11-B, Narkhed municipal council: Wards 2-B, 5-B, and 7-A, Kondhali nagar panchayat: Wards 8 and 16.

Nagpur district has a total of 15 municipal councils and 12 nagar panchayats.
