Nagpur, March 21 -- Nagpur bench of Bombay high court on Friday rejected the bail application of an alleged terrorist, accused of conducting reconnaissance of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sang (RSS) headquarters and Smriti Mandir here in Maharashtra,

The division bench comprising justices Nitin Suryawanshi and Pravin Patil agreed with the submission made by the prosecution that accused Rais Sheikh was deeply involved in the crime and materials are available against him.

Sheikh was arrested by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) in September 2021 from Jammu and Kashmir. His involvement came to light during an investigation by the Kashmir police in another case.
