Kohima, March 27 -- Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today told the Nagaland Assembly that the state government remains committed to maintaining financial discipline while ensuring timely payment of salaries, pensions, and essential services.
In his concluding remarks on the state Budget 2026-27 on the concluding day of the eighth session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly in Kohima, Rio spoke about the government's focus on strengthening governance through transparency, accountability, and efficient utilisation of public resources, supported by measures such as revenue mobilisation, digital systems, and expenditure rationalisation.
