Dimapur, March 12 -- Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Thursday told the state assembly that the state government is exploring the option of handing over the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex in Dimapur to the Sports Authority of India (SAI) as a possible solution for completing the remaining construction work and ensuring its full utilisation, considering the financial constraints.

Replying to a starred question by MLA Nuklutoshi seeking details on the total funds received and reasons for delay in completion of the facility on the fifth day of the eighth session of the 14th Nagaland Assembly, Rio said the project was delayed due to limited financial resources and phased funding over the years.
