Dimapur, Dec. 15 -- Nagaland's motor vehicles department launched the e-challan service in the state at the Dimapur district transport office on Monday.

Commissioner & secretary, transport department, Robert Longchari formally launched the service in a bid toward digital governance and improved traffic management.

Speaking at the programme as the special guest, Longchari expressed his appreciation to the traffic police, home department and the National Informatics Centre (NIC) for their close coordination and partnership in implementing the e-challan platform in Nagaland.

He said the cohesion and collaboration among various line departments are crucial for the successful rollout and proper enforcement of the digital system.
