Dimapur, Sept. 24 -- The Nagaland government has initiated "concrete steps" to resolve the long-pending grievances of the RMSA 2016 batch teachers regarding their demands for pay parity with their counterparts, lack of job security, and delay in mainstreaming them into the state cadre.
The government has set up a high-level committee and has also decided to constitute a sub-committee to study the demands.
An official notification today said two successive meetings were convened this month by the school education department to address the impasse and work out a way forward.
