Kohima, Aug. 19 -- Nagaland has recorded the highest number of RTI applications among the small states category, where the state received from 2006-07 to 2016-17 at 24, 896, an official report said.
According to the Annual Administrative Report (2018-2019) of the State's Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms tabled in the recently concluded Nagaland Legislative Assembly Session informed that the Nagaland Information Commission has analysed the RTI applications received by the various public authorities in the state for the first time for the period 2015-16 and 2016-17, which was perhaps the first Information Commission in the country to have undertaken such analysis.
